Keagen was born in March of 1999 - she was 9 years old in March of 2008. She may be a mix, but the only place it might show is in her face. It has fairly soft angles. Otherwise she is all sheltie. Keagen is up to date on all her vaccinations, including rabies and has been wormed. She is spayed, heart worm checked (negative), and she had a dental on the 11th of February. She is all ready for her new, forever home. Keagen lived with small children - 6 weeks, 2 years and 4 years old. She also shared her home with a gentle rottie who was also 9 years old and a big black cat. She is 100% house trained, uses a doggie door, walks very nicely on leash, was a very good girl when at the groomers and loves to ride in the car. (Although, she DOES think she should be riding in your lap !!) She is a little overweight - we're looking at the loss of 5 pounds to start with. She has lots of energy and loves to play - with her person and with the other dogs. Keagen is a very sweet and loving dog. She is great with other pets and all humans. What's not to love?  AND - I think she is gorgeous.

Vinnie

Hi !!  My name is Vinnie. I am about 10 years old, I weigh about 12 pounds, and I'm full of the vinegar. That's what my new Mom says, anyway. I love to run and play with the other dogs, but have yet to talk the cats in to playing with me. Vinnie was placed in the drop box at the Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha, Nebraska. So we have no history or information regarding Vinnie. He loves other pets, but is very timid and shy around people. He has adjusted very well to living in a home full of dogs and cats, but only one human. We are working on our house training skills. We will list a breed identification when results come back from his DNA kit. We just can't figure it out on our own. He was completely shaved down before he was dropped off. So if he is to be a longhaired boy - it will be a while before he is in his full glory. Vinnie was neutered on the 3rd of February, had his teeth cleaned, is negative for heartworm and will be placed on preventative. He is current on all his vaccinations. Vinnie will need a special home, with ideally a single person or a couple with no children, and very little company. Over time this may change - but at this point in time he is very leary of humans. He does not snap or bite, though. He will transition much faster if there is another dog in the home that loves to play. Experience with a shy and timid dog, or the willingness to learn is a must.
